Cluster Level Networking Meeting for SDMCSubmitted by bosconrd on Jan 12, 2018 Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM) jointly organized Cluster level networking meeting for School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) at Govt. Urdu Model Primary Boys’ School, Barlane, Good Shed Road, Bangalore on January 10, 2018. Santhosh More, Mantra for Change, Bangalore, said, “A Cluster Resource Person (CRP) has a vital role to play in the empowerment of the Headmasters and SDMC in every school”. Usuf Aslam Khan, State President, SDMC State Level Federation, said “Teaching is a divine profession. It is the duty of every teacher to consolidate resources and impart high quality education to the children”.
Dr. Jabeen Taj, CRP, Urdu School, Padarayanapura briefed about the roles and responsibilities of SDMCs and the need to ensure optimum involvement of NGOs that render services for children. BS Ziaulla, President, SDMC, Farukhya Nagar, Bangalore, said that the primary duty of the teachers is to concentrate on the quality of education provided and not other clerical works. Ramaswamy, Coordinator, CREAM & ECCE, BOSCO, Bangalore, said that teachers should make efforts to inculcate social responsibility among the students. Shivamallu, Foster Care, BOSCO, Bangalore, spoke about the goals and objectives of Foster Care and about the services rendered by BOSCO, Bangalore.
