Training Programme on Juvenile Justice Act to RPF police OfficersSubmitted by bosconrd on Mar 03, 2018 Railway CHILDLINE, BOSCO, Bangalore, conducted training programme on Juvenile Justice Act (JJ Act 2015) for RPF Police officials and staff members at Anugraha, Railway quarters, Bangalore on February 27 2018. Chengappa, Inspector, introduced the railway team to the participants and welcomed the gathering. Fr. Rubin Mathew, Director, Railway CHILDLINE BOSCO briefed about BOSCO and the work carried out in the Railway station. He also expressed his gratitude to the officials for supporting the team.
Mr. Ramaswamy, Coordinator Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM), facilitated the sessions on Juvenile Justice Act 2015 and Railway SOP. He explained about the highlights of JJ Act. He also highlighted on the different cases which will be found by the RPF and GRP and the procedures they need to follow during the process of child rescue.
Jenifar Y, Coordinator, Railway CHILDLINE explained the steps carried out by BOSCO and insisted upon the need for a higher level meeting and decisions to be taken during the process of child rescue. One hundred and eighteen RPF officials from Bangalore Division participated in the training.
