Annual Evaluation at BOSCO, BangaloreSubmitted by bosconrd on Jun 23, 2018 The Annual Evaluation of BOSCO was held at BOSCO Yuvodaya, Bangalore on June 19 and 20, 2018. Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO, Bangalore, thanked the staff for being the pillars of the organization and for by the Mission of BOSCO for the past thirty-eight years. He saluted the staff for the generous and dedicated efforts in the field of child care and protection. Addressing the gathering, Usha B, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), Bangalore Urban, said that child related issues like child abuse, child marriages, etc. are on the rise. The only way of curbing these is by bridging the gap between the government agencies and NGOs working towards the welfare of the children. She assured her support to BOSCO in its endeavors to ensuring safety of children and childhood.
The activities of twenty-seven departments were evaluated on the basis of the reports presented. Major events and activities to be organized during the year were planned. The birthdays of some of the staff were celebrated on the occasion. All the new staff, Fr. CV George, Bros. Vimal, Arold and Ferik were welcomed and introduced to BOSCO Bangalore. The staff members, who were newly married, were felicitated. All the managing directors of BOSCO and staff were present for the programme.
