A value education session on ‘Discipline,’ was organized by BOSCO Rainbow Home for the girls residing in the centre on July 26, 2021. The purpose of the session was to gain willing acceptance of the standards and procedures of the Home and to encourage the children to learn and manage their feeling and behavior.
Sr. Mary Shamala, Counselor, BOSCO Rainbow Home, helped children identify the different types of feelings like being happy, excited, sad, angry, shy, feeling lonely, afraid, worried, etc. and also to understand how to deal with these feelings to remain calm and peaceful through short video clippings. It would help them to learn responsible behavior, good values, gain self-control and take responsibility of their actions. Thirty resident girls participated in the session.
