Informations from BOSCO

Tulasi

Tulasi, now 23 years old, came to BOSCO in July 2015. She belonged to a dysfunctional family, and was sent by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) to BOSCO Rainbow Home for care and protection After completing her schooling from there, she was shifted to Vatsalya Bhavan, another home for girl children, where she did her pre-university and college education. A determined, studious, and friendly child by nature, she completed her graduation in commerce and computer science. It was during this period that BOSCO managed to trace her mother with whom she had lost contact about 9 years earlier. After completing her graduation, Tulasi worked with BOSCO as an accounting staff for a few months before moving in with her mother. Currently, she is at home with her mother where she truly belongs. She is doing a course in finance and working towards her dream of being independent and living life on her own terms. She is grateful to BOSCO for standing by her through the good and the bad times, would like to support girls like her when she gets an opportunity.
