Informations from BOSCO

Durgamala

Durgamala is 24 years old and works as a beautician in a beauty parlour. She was sent to BOSCO Rainbow Home by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in April 2012. After completing her schooling from Rainbow Home, she was transferred to BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan for further studies. In Vatsalya Bhavan, she expressed her desire to join the Beautician course and was enrolled for it. She completed the course with enthusiasm and commitment, and was taken as an intern in one of the Lakme outlets. She now stays in a PG accommodation and is leading an independent life. She regularly sponsors food and snacks for the children of Vatsalya Bhavan, and is always ready to help children in need. She says that the guidance she received from BOSCO in her formative years has changed her life forever.
