Sumithra

21 year old Sumithra was born to Yellappa and Kasthuri in Halasuru, Bengaluru, on March 3rd, 2000. Sumithra has two elder sisters and one younger sister. Her father used to work in the graveyard and her mother was a housewife. But after her mother’s death, Sumithra had to be sent to a hostel for her education. Since that day, her life was divided between her grandmother’s house and different hostels. Finally, she was placed in BOSCO Rainbow Home in July 2013, where she completed class 10, topping her class. Later she was placed in BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan where she completed her D.ed.Sumithra wants to give back to society and do something in life that will not only benefit her but also help the society in some way, and make BOSCO proud of her. At present she is working in BOSCO and loves to teach street children.
