Foster Care Awareness Programmes

BOSCO Foster Care Project organized awareness programmes for Anganwadi Mothers at the Anganwadi centres in T C Halli, Anekal, Pantharapalya, Banaswadi, Velumuruganpura and Chikkadasarahalli, Sarjapura Hoballi, Anekal, Bengaluru during July 2021. Obalesh K, Social Mobilizer, Foster Care Programme, BOSCO Bengaluru, briefed about BOSCO and its activities. He explained in detail about adoption, foster care concept, procedures involved in Foster Care programme and the role of DCPU and CWC. He exhorted the Anganwadi Mothers to disseminate this information to others in their communities and support BOSCO in identifying potential foster parents and children. Hundred and one Anganwadi Mothers participated in these programmes.
