Child Protection Committees Formed

Child Protection Committees (CPCs) were formed at Anandapuram, Bengaluru and Hasiruvalli Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural, by BOSCO CREAM Project on July 7 and 14, 2021 respectively. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO CREAM Project, gave an introduction about BOSCO and its services and CREAM Project. Mr. Devaraj, Coordinator, BOSCO CREAM Project, explained about the four child rights, child rights violations. He briefed about the Skill Training programmes at BOSCO, He stressed the importance of the role of stakeholders in the society. Fifty-four Anganwadi teachers, parents, child rights club leaders, area leaders, police, ASHA workers, PHC (Primary Health Center) members, members of Mamatha, Sochara and Action Aid NGOs PDO, Panchayath members, village leaders and school Headmasters participated in the meetings.
