Public Awareness at Chikkapete

BOSCO Nilya team organized Public Awareness programme at Chikkapete, Bengaluru on July 8, 2021. Public and shop keepers were given awareness on child rights, child rights violation, CHILDLINE, tuition centres established by BOSCO, vocational skill training courses at BOSCO, and remedial education at BOSCO Nilaya. The public appreciated and thanked the team for the efforts made in creating awareness. Shopkeepers and vendors took initiative to pass on the information to the public. Some girls from the area showed interest in joining Beautician course. One school dropout wanted to be re-enrolled in school. One of the migrant youths wanted to know whether migrant youths can take up skill training courses. Follow up is being done. Around 300 people were given awareness.
