BOSCO Nilaya, Bengaluru organized Health Awareness Programme for the children of Ramanna Garden, Bengaluru on February 20, 2021. Uma, Social Worker, St. Martha’s Hospital, Bengaluru, explained about first aid and personal hygiene. There was a detailed explanation on balance diet, consumption of potable drinking water, hand washing steps, and maintenance of cleaning surroundings. Prevention from contagious diseases was briefed. Steps to be taken during medical emergencies were briefed. First aid methods and demonstrations were made. Jhansi, Nurse, St. Martha’s Hospital and Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya were present in the programme. Ms. Priya, Coordinator, CREAM Project, proposed the vote of thanks. Eighty children attended the awareness session.
