Task Force Meeting

BOSCO Team working in Kempegowda Bus Station, Bengaluru conducted Task Force Meeting for the BMTC Officials on February 19, 2021. The program was organized to create awareness to the BMTC officials about BOSCO’s work and its services. Ramaswamy, Outreach Officer, Foster Care Programme, shared about the current issue faced by the children and how BOSCO is supporting the needy children on the street. He also explained about child rights, the role of BOSCO in protection of child rights and mentioned about BOSCO Assistance Center in Bus stand and its services, CHILDLINE, and child helpline number. Mr. Jaypal, Divisional Traffic Officer, BMTC Bus stand asked the officers to be vigilant in identifying the needy children in bus stand. He also ensured full support from their end towards care and protection of the young at risk. Anjaneya, Coordinator, BOSCO Bus Stand Team, welcomed the gathering and also proposed the vote of thanks. Thirty-five BMTC officials attended the meeting.
