Foster Care Awareness

Foster Care Project, BOSCO Bengaluru organized awareness programmes for the Self-Help Group (SHG) members at Vinayaknagar, , Asha Workers at PHC Center, Anganwadi teachers at CDPO Office, Panchayat Raj Intititution (PRI) members at Gram Panchayat office, Dommasandra, Sarjapur Hobali, Anekal Taluk on February 3, 5 and 12, 2021 respectively. Mr. Obalesh K., Social Mobilizer, BOSCO Foster Care Project, explained about the concept of foster care, legal procedures and identification of prospective parents. He requested the stakeholders to support BOSCO in identifying prospective parents and children. Fifteen SHG members, twenty-eight Anganwadi Teachers, thirty-six Asha Workers and thirty-eight Gram Panchayat members participated in the awareness sessions.
