Training of Child Rights Club Members

CREAM Project, BOSCO Bnegaluru, organized training for the newly formed Child Rights Club in Government Urdu Medium Primary School (GUMPS), New Gurrappanapaly, Bengaluru on January 28, 2021. Ms. Saheen Taj, H.M, GUMPS welcomed the gathering. The training commenced with the introduction of BOSCO, its activities and CREAM Project. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, CREAM Project briefed about UNCRC, child rights, child rights violations with relevant examples. Children were asked to be leaders and support the children in difficult situations. Children were briefed about the responsibilities of child rights club members. Ten children were selected as club members. Children listed the issues faced by children and said that they would work towards solving these issues. With vote of thanks by Mr. Srinivas, Teacher, the training drew to a close. Fifty-eight children attended the training.
