Public Awareness at KSR Railway Station

Railway CHILDLINE team, BOSCO Bengaluru organized public awareness programme at the entrance and Platform No. 1 of KSR Railway Station, Bengaluru on January 11, 2021. The team comprising of Ms. Vijayamma, Ms. Jayalakshmi, Ms. Gurudevi, Ms. Supriya and Mr. Manjunath oriented the passengers alighting the trains regarding child trafficking, missing children, child rights, child protection mechanisms, CHILDLINE, 1098, functions of BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE in the railway station for the vulnerable children and the role of the public in the rescue and rehabilitation process of the children and young at risk. The public were asked to test the helpline number. Over hundred and eighty public and passengers were given awareness and fifty phone testing calls were taken up.
