International Girl Child Day at BOSCO Rainbow Home

International Day of the Girl Child was celebrated at BOSCO Rainbow Home on the theme, ‘My Voice, Our Equal Future’ on October 11, 2020. The programme started with a brief introduction on the purpose of celebrating International Girl Child Day, value and worth of being a girl. Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, spoke about the importance of the girl child day and exhorted every girl to fight for her rights. Children staged theme based cultural programmes and enjoyed celebrating their day. Fr. John MA, Director, BOSCO Rainbow Home, Sr. Leena, Coordinator, Rainbow Home, seven staff and fifty-seven children were present for the programme.
