Foster Care Awareness Programmes

Foster Care Programme, BOSCO Bengaluru organized six awareness programmes for the Anganwadi Teachers, Byatarayanapura and Chikpet, Bengaluru, Anganwadi Mothers, Vinobanagar, Bengaluru, Ward Corporator, Anjanappa Garden, Bengaluru, ASHA workers, Azad Nagar, Bengaluru and staff of BOSCO Yuvodaya during September, 2020. Shivamallu, Coordinator, BOSCO Foster Care Programme and Obalesh, Social Mobilizer, BOSCO Foster Care Programme, spoke about BOSCO and its services. They also enlightened the participants on CHILDLINE toll free number (1098), child rights, concept of Foster Care, types of Foster Care, purpose of Foster Care, roles and responsibilities of the Child Welfare Committee. Corporator of the Ward, fifteen Anganwadi Mothers, forty-one Anganwadi Teachers, fourteen ASHA workers and sixteen Staff, BOSCO Yuvodaya attended the awareness programmes.
