Foster Care Awareness Programmes

Foster Care Project, BOSCO Bengaluru conducted awareness programmes for teachers, Saradha Sri Samaja, Chamarajpet, Bengaluru, Anganwadi Mothers, Anganawadi Center, Bakshi Garden and Anganawadi Center, Aralepet, Bengaluru and Anganwadi teachers, Anganawadi Center, Nethaji Nagar, Bengaluru on August 3, 7, 13 and 14, 2020 respectively. Obalesh, Social Mobilizer, Foster Care Project, briefed the participants about the concept of foster care, legal procedures involved in the foster care programmes, identification of potential parents and children and role of CWC in foster care programme. Seventeen primary school teachers, forty-five Anganwadi mothers and twenty Anganwadi teachers participated in the awareness programmmes.
