Karate Belt Grading Examination

 BOSCO Nilaya organized Karate belt grading examination in collaboration with Mr. Marlinga, Karate instructor (WFSKO) at Sahana International Hi Tech School, Andralli, Bengaluru, on February 16, 2020. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas said, “Let us create a child friendly society and karate would help children to build a good character.” Demonstration on Karate was given by twelve Karate Instructors. Mr. Shivalingaiah, Founder, Sahana International Hi Tech School appreciated Mr. Marlinga and BOSCO for working towards empowering children through karate coaching. Mr. Melyvn, Volunteer, Australia appreciated the efforts of children and encouraged them to work hard with dedication to become successful in life.
Certificate, memento and belt were distributed to all participants by dignitaries. Eleven children were given yellow belts, fifteen were given orange belts, one child was given green belt, nine were given blue belts and one was given brown belt. Ms. Shivalingaiah, Fawad, Mr. Melyvn and Mr. Marlinga were felicitated during the occasion. Ms. Priya, Reporter, BOSCO Nilaya welcomed the gathering and Master Vinod Kumar proposed the vote of thanks. Thirty-seven children from BOSCO Nilaya and BOSCO Nivas and seventy-seven children from various parts of Bengaluru participated in the programme.
