Sport Day Organized

BOSCO Yuvodaya, Bengaluru, under the auspices of APPI project, organized Sports Day for the inmates of the open shelter at BOSCO Sumanahalli on February 11, 2020. Fr. Prasad, SDB, Director, BOSCO Sumanahalli and CHILDLINE inaugurated the programme. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya explained the purpose of the event. The children were divided into two teams. They participated in a variety of sports events like cricket, volley ball, kabaddi and football. It was a fun-filled day with children jumping, shouting, encouraging and supporting their team members. The winners were announced and prizes were distributed. Twenty-nine children from the open shelter participated in the event. Anil Joseph, Coordinator, BOSCO Yuvodaya welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
