Don Bosco’s month, was inaugurated at the various centers of BOSCO, in the presence of children, youth and stakeholders from January 2 to 6, 2020. The representatives of each center and area along with their Directors garlanded the statue of the Saint.
BOSCO Mane and Vikas organized the inauguration of Don Bosco’s month on January 2, 2020 in the presence of Puttaswamy, Inspector, Channammanakere Police Station, Bengaluru, Lal Saab, PSI, Shankarpuram Police Station, Bengaluru, Fr. Binny, Director, BOSCO Vikas, Fr. John MA, Director, BOSCO Mane and Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas. Around fifty children from Mane and Vikas participated in the programme.
Ms. Suma, Sub Inspector, Upparpet Police Station, Bengaluru and Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya inaugurated the Don Bosco Month by garlanding the Don Bosco Statue on January 3, 2020. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram spoke about Don Bosco and his work for children and also the reason of celebrating Don Bosco month. Seventy-two rescued and migrant children participated in the programme.
BOSCO Sumanahalli inaugurated the Don Bosco month on January 3, 2020. Fr. William D’Souza spoke about the importance of celebrating Don Bosco’s Month, his mission and vision. Fr. Prasad SDB, Director BOSCO Sumanahalli was present on the occasion. Thirty youth and thirty children from Devaraj Urs community participated in the program.
Don Bosco’s Month was inaugurated at BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE in the presence of Ms. Bharathi Sub Inspector, GRP, Mr. Mitchell, Senior Section Mechanical Engineer, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, Railway CHILDLINE and Ms. Rashmi, CLA, CIF at the BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE office on January 4, 2020. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram spoke about the life style and service of Don Bosco to stakeholders. Forty-five stakeholders were present for the programme.
BOSCO Nilaya organized the inauguration programme at BOSCO Nilaya and BOSCO’s new Campus, Ramanna Garden, J.C. Road on January 4, 2020. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya, in the key note address narrated the Life of Don Bosco and motivated the children to follow his methods of Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. Mr. Lokesh, Writer, informed about the purpose and use of Suraksha app launched for the safety of women. Hundred and fifty children from the areas participated.
BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan had the inauguration of Don Bosco’s month on January 4, 2020. Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO, Bengaluru, exhorted the children to be trustworthy and genuine in following the footsteps of Don Bosco. Children sang hymns honoring Don Bosco. Sixty-five children attended the program.
BOSCO Nivas organized the inauguration of the Month at Doddi, Mackan Compound and Nehrupuram areas of Shivajinagar on the January 4, 2019 in the presence of Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nivas. Staff, tuition teachers and thirty-five children participated in the programme.
Don Bosco’s Month Inauguration at BOSCO Rainbow Home saw the presence of Ms. Rajanna, ASI, Wilson Garden Police Station, Bengaluru, and Fr. John. MA, Director, BOSCO Rainbow Home, on January 4, 2020. Ms. Rajanna, motivated the children to make use of all the facilities provided by the centre to become good and responsible citizens. Fifty-five children attended the programme.
BOSCO Yuvakendra inaugurated Don Bosco’s month on January 6, 2020. Fr. Mathew Vadakkel, Fr. CV George, Director, ARSP and SJPU projects, BOSCO Bengaluru and Silvy Lawrence, Director, BOSCO Yuvakendra graced the occasion. Thirty youth participated in the program.
