Session on Career Guidance

BOSCO Yuvakendra, Bengaluru organized a session on ‘Career Guidance’ for the youth at the centre on December 11, 2019. Sr. Silvy, Director, Yuvakendra, briefed about the activities of BOSCO. Mr. Vinay Kumar BG, resource person, Skilling for Livelihood Empowering for Life, Bengaluru, oriented the youth on the criteria for the admissions for Skill Training, educational requirement, age, types of courses and job placement. He spoke about the advantages of undergoing skill training as against taking up jobs without acquiring skills. He exhorted the youth to join the courses provided to them by their organization which were free of cost and make use of the scholarship provided. Nineteen youth attended the session.
