Life skills and Spoken English Classes

BOSCO Computer Training Project, organized life skill sessions and spoken English classes for the computer trainees at BOSCO Mane from September 2019 to October 2019. The sessions were facilitated by the faculty from Creating Future, Bengaluru. Life skills such as, self-awareness, communication, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal skills, and meditation were taught through various activities like ‘River Crossing’, ‘Thread Passing’, ‘Passing the Ball’, ‘Section Says’, ‘Tik to Tak’, ‘Protecting our Balloon’, etc.
Spoken English classes included basics of English, parts of speech, tenses, grammar, sentence formation, framing questions, increasing vocabulary and basic communication in English through activities like playing word puzzle, word building, picture cards, question booklets, reading newspapers, etc. Thirty-two computer trainees attended the classes.
