Awareness Programmes on Foster care

Foster Care Programme, BOSCO Bengaluru, organized Awareness programmes for Self Help Group Members (SHG), CWC members, DCPU, PRI Members, Anganwadi Teachers, Asha Workers at Davangere and Tumkur Districts during September, 2019. The team members, Foster Care Programme, spoke about BOSCO, its services, CHILDLINE toll free number (1098), child rights, Foster Care Programme, procedures involved in the foster care implementation, coordination with CWC and support of the stakeholders in implementing the foster care programme. Thirty-one SHG members, nine CWC and DCPU staff, fifty-five PRI members and forty-two Anganwadi Teachers and Asha Workers attended the sessions held at various places in Davangere and Tumkur.
