Survey to Identify Child Laborers

BOSCO Nilaya in collaboration with Child Safety Net (CSN) Project, BOSCO conducted survey on child labor at KR Market and Jolly Mohalla areas on September 9 and 12, 2019. Despite several warnings given to the shop keepers during street presence, children are found working to earn a livelihood. Hence, shop to shop survey was done. All the shop keepers were given awareness about Child Labor Prohibition Act. Few shop keepers promised to send the working children back to their homes. Two shop keepers agreed to re-enroll the children to school.
