Anniversary Celebrations at BOSCO Yuvakendra

BOSCO Yuvakendra, Bengaluru celebrated the 34th anniversary of the centre on September 8, 2019. Fr. CV George, Director, BOSCO SJPU and ARSP Programmes, in the keynote address, said that Yuvakendra was following the path of Don BOSCO. He said that many youth from Yuvakendra completed their training and are now well settled with jobs as teachers, sportsmen, etc., and leading good family life. He exhorted the youth to follow their footsteps, become responsible citizens and achieve something good in life. Interacting with the centre youth, Ramesh Kumar, Past Pupil said, “As a boy I suffered a lot. I had made majestic area my home. It was BOSCO who rescued me, gave me skill training, instilled confidence in me and made me what I am today.” Sr. Sivly, Director, BOSCO Yuvakendra, urged the youth to utilize the opportunities provided by BOSCO to the fullest.
Boys performed dances and drama on the occasion. Mr. KM Veeresh, Coordinator, BOSCO Yuvakendra welcome the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks. Thirty youth participated in the anniversary celebrations along with the staff.
