YOUTH GROUP MEETING

Youth group meeting was organized at Nehrupuram, by BOSCO Nivas on July 16, 2019. The meeting was held with the objective to motivate the youth to undergo training and empower themselves with a skill in order to earn a decent livelihood. It was noticed that a couple of youths were regularly indulging in alcoholism and drug abuse. They were school/college drop outs, who had fallen into wrong company. One of the youths was seeking help to overcome addiction so that he would be accepted by the society. The youth were given a briefing about BOSCO skill training center at Sumanahalli and the Don Bosco Skill Training Center at Lingarajpuram which offered free certified course in various skills. Four youth attended the meeting.
