Obedience, a Value to Cultivate

 BOSCO Rainbow Home, Bengaluru organized Value Education session on Obedience for the children on June 23, 2019. Sr. Shamala, Counselor, BOSCO Rainbow Home began the session with party games connecting them to the value of obedience. The girls were made aware that obedience was just not about rules, regulations and punishment. It was also about co-operating with each other in order to have a safe and friendly atmosphere. They were told that obedience is doing what is right, doing with good attitude and doing everything to the best of one’s ability. The four important values of obedience such as following instructions correctly; completing what one is expected to do; having a cheerful and positive attitude and not obeying a wrong command were taught to the children. Thirty-eight girls benefitted from this session.
