STAKE HOLDERS AWARENESS

Awareness programmes were conducted for platform tea vendors and Travelling Ticket Examiners (TTE) by BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE team at Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station, Bengaluru on June 14 and 17, 2019 respectively. The main aim of the awareness programmes was to sensitize the stakeholders towards runaway children and missing children. The topics were BOSCO and its activities, CHILDLINE, Railway CHILDLINE, missing children, 1098, runaway children, child rights child protection mechanisms, child welfare committee and the role of stakeholders in rescuing children. Mr. Mahesh, Child India Foundation (CIF) gave information about CIF. Twelve tea vendors and fifteen TTEs were part of the awareness programmes.
