Life Skill Session on Team Building

BOSCO Yuvakendra organized a life skill session on ‘Team Building’ for the boys at the centre on Fenruary 18, 2019. The session was conducted by Mr. Taha and Mrs. Fatima. Group session began with two introductory games. The program was designed around three keywords that were explained to the boys in depth: Dependence, Independence and Interdependence. While in some situations people would rely on themselves alone (independence) or on someone else (dependence), the skill of collaborating with and relying on each other (interdependence) should not be considered less important. The facilitators shared the principles of strategy and planning in a team as well as speaking up confidently in front of other people. Around twenty boys attended the session.
