School Awareness Programme

Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) team, BOSCO, Bengaluru organized a school awareness programme at Solomon Higher Primary School, Bengaluru on February 8, 2019. Mr. Basavaraju, PN, Coordinator, BOSCO SJPU Project gave awareness about the SJPU programme, JJ Act and child protection mechanisms. He explained about child rights, CHILD LINE and 1098.
After the programme a few children came forward and shared the problems they were facing near the school premises. Their problems were taken into account and shared with the Police Officials. Ms. Kavitha, Social worker, SJPU Project proposed vote of thanks. Two Hundred and forty five children participated in the programme.
