Health Awareness Session Organized

Health awareness session on Cancer was organized at BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan, Bengaluru by Nursing Students from St. Martha’s Hospital for the inmates of the centre on January 14, 2019. The students interacted with the children staged a mime show with the message on ways of preventing deadly cancer. They educated the children on avoiding tobacco, maintaining a healthy body weight, eating right, doing enough exercise, and the need to undergo appropriate cancer screening tests etc. Thirty girls attended the session.
