CHILDREN’S SPORTS MEET 2019

BOSCO Bengaluru organized Children’s Sports Meet at BOSCO Sumanahalli on January 13, 2019. Addressing the children, the chief guest, Mr. Krishnamurthy, Coach, Kantheerava Stadium, Bengaluru, said, “the tiny seed knew that in order to grow it needed to be dropped in dirt, covered in darkness, and struggle to reach the light and become a tree. We, as a seed, through hard work, courage and confidence can succeed in life and become fruitful.” Various sports events like running race, relay, high jump, long jump, tug of war, shot-put, musical chair, sack race, frog race, lemon and spoon race, etc. were organized for sub juniors, juniors and seniors.
The winners were awarded with medals and certificates. Fr Binny, Director, BOSCO Mane, Fr John MA, Administrator, BOSCO Bengaluru, Fr. Prasad, Director, BOSCO CHILDLINE and Sumanahalli, Fr. Regi, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas, Fr. C. V. George, Director, SJPU and ARSP Projects, staff and volunteers were present at the event. Over five hundred children participated in the sports meet.
