Training for Anganwadi Teachers

 BOSCO Foster Care Programme, organized training programmes for Anganwadi Teachers at Bengaluru Central Project, Geleyara Balaga, Kurubarahalli, Parimala Nagar, Kanteerava Studio and Triveni Circle, K.P.Agrahara, Bengaluru on January 10 and 11, 2019.
Anil, Akshita and Gayathri, Social Mobilizers, Foster Care Programme, BOSCO Bengaluru, spoke about BOSCO and its services. They explained about CHILDLINE toll free number 1098, child rights, Foster Care concept, types of Foster Care, purpose of Foster Care, difference between Adoption and Foster Care, selection criteria of potential parents and children, age group of children, time frame of placement, follow up of children, weaning period, matching process, legal procedures, roles and responsibilities of Child Welfare Committee. Sixty-three Anganwadi Teachers participated in the trainings.
