Shaale Kade Nanna Nade

BOSCO Nilaya, Nivas, CRISP, CSN, ARSP Yuvakendra, and Gandhinagar Projects organized the Shaale Kade Nanna Nade campaign in their areas of intervention during May last week and June first week of 2024. The campaign included awareness rallies, door-to-door awareness, and awareness in the communities by children. Fr. Anand SDB, Director BOSCO Sumanahalli, Fr Arogyaraj, Manager, St. Xavier School and Fr Johnson, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya exhorted the children to be regular to school, be disciplined and lead a good life.   The Police Personnel of Upparpet Police Station, highlighting the importance of education, informed the children to call up the toll-free number-112 whenever they face problems.

Rallies were taken out in Nagammanagar, Keshavnagar, Ashwathanagar, Himalaya Community, Pillahalli, Veerabhadranagar Gudda, City Market,  Anandapuram, Cement Huts, Ramanna Garden, Vinobhanagara, Giripuram, Satya Nagar, Tungabhadra Colony and Gandhinagar areas of Bengaluru Urban and Ambedkar Nagar, Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural . The area police personnel, children, HMs and teachers of the Government schools and St. Xavier School, Anganwadi Workers, tuition teachers and staff of BOSCO were involved in the awareness campaigns.  More than one thousand people who were reached out to during the campaign pledged their support in enrolling and re-enrolling the children in their communities into schools.
