Orientation Programmes

The visit  helped students to know much about organization and its activities.  Hundred students and 1 teaching faculty had visited BOSCO.

MSW first year Students from CHRIST College, Bengaluru, visited BOSCO on July 3 and 10, 2023 for an orientation. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram,  Executive Director orientated on BOSCO organization and its activities. He briefed about the history of BOSCO, its Vision and Mission, programmes and projects.

The students who were undergoing specialization in Human Resource Management and Community Development were  given an introduction about the role of HR Department in an NGO. They were also made aware of the different areas of specialization and their scope in present scenario. Students expressed to do their concurrent fieldwork. Students interacted with open shelter children and staff. They asked questions related to CSR funding, rescue operations, identification of children, difficulties in tracing parents and challenges in counseling.
