Parents’ Meeting was organized at BOSCO Mane on October 02, 2024.   Fr. G. Kollashani shared his experiences with the parents. Fr. KJ Joseph, Director, BOSCO Mane, spoke about parents’ role and responsibilities after taking the child home for the vacation.  He expressed that children need to feel secure and accepted by their parents. A child’s self-esteem is largely developed within the family, and is influenced by the family’s perceptions of itself. Ms. Usha Nayak, Coordinator, BOSCO Mane discussed the roles and responsibilities of the parents; documents required to be maintained at the centre and available government schemes and facilities for the children.  Forty-eight parents of the children residing BOSCO Mane and Vikas  attended the meeting from BOSCO Mane and took their children home for vacation.
