Medical Camps Organized

A medical camp was organized for the trainees of the Beautician and Tailoring Courses  of BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan on October 29, 2024 in collaboration with TCM Royan Hospital, Chamarajpet.  Dr.Sr.Niveditha and Team from T.C.M Royan Hospital conducted the camp. They did the general check up of the trainees and gave awareness on Thyroid health as it affects many bodily functions, from metabolism and energy levels to mood and heart health. Thyroid tests help identify any thyroid dysfunction early on, allowing for proper management.  Blood samples were collected for conducting thyroid test. Sixty trainees attended the camp.

To track the physical health of the children of BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan, a general health checkup was organized at the centre on October 31, 2024. The children’s height, weight, and blood pressure were measured by Dr. Abraham. The doctor examined each child individually and recommended that they be given vegetables and iron and vitamin supplements. Sixty children benefited from the camp.
