Karate Colour Belt Grading Exam

Karate Belt Grading Exam was organized by Marlinga at BOSCO Yuvaspandana, January 5, 2025. Ms. Bindu, Coordinator, BOSCO Nilaya, welcomed the gathering. Fr. Deepu, Director, BOSCO Nilaya nad Yuvaspandana spoke about self-defense, humility, and hard work. He said, ‘Hard work always pays. Karate is mainly to empower the girl children to fight for their rights.’ Karate Instructors and students performed inspiring Karate demo. Children performed exercises and warm-up katas in the group. Belt exam was conducted in the presence of Marlinga, Ningappa, Kavya, Gagan, Likith and Rakshith, Karate Instructors.

 Belts and certificates were distributed to all. Sixty-one children were promoted to yellow belt.  Forty children were given the orange belt , twenty -one were promoted to green belt and one child was given the blue belt. Around hundred and twenty five children from BOSCO Nilaya, Rainbow Home, Vatsalya Bhavan, Yuvakendra and JC Road participated in the exam.
