Training for Governemnt School Teachers

BOSCO Foster Care Programme conducted a training session for the teachers of Government Primary School,  Thyamagondlu Cluster, Nelamangala Bengaluru Rural on January 11, 2025. Obalesh, Social Mobilizer, BOSCO Foster Care Programme introduced the teachers to BOSCO and its activities, Foster Care concept and Adoption. He explained in detail regarding the foster care procedures, eligibility of children and parents for this programme, legal procedures, duration of foster care, roles and responsibilities of the government agencies like CWC and DCPU. He also made them aware of the support expected by them in disseminating the information and identifying the prospective parents and children for foster care. Forty-two teachers were involved in the training.
