Awareness Programme for School Children

The BOSCO ARSP Project in collaboration with Cantonment GRP held an awareness programme at the Public School, Vasanthanagar, Bengaluru on February 6, 2025. Mr. Harish, ASI/BNC explained the activities of police station and  showed some equipment like handcuffs, pistol and police badge. He also gave some safety tips for children. Mr. Shekhar, Coordinator, BOSCO ARSP Project provided information on child rights, child marriage, children found begging, child labour, and the child helpline number 1098/112 through various real-life examples. This awareness session enhanced the participants’ knowledge and equipped them to be vigilant against child exploitation. A total of forty-eight children, five teachers, three police officials and ARSP team members were part of the session.
