Child Protection Committee at Soldevanahalli,Nelamangala

BOSCO CRISP Project held a meeting with the community members of Soldevanahalli, Nelamangala at the Gram Panchayat Office on April 22, 2025 to raise awareness on child rights and protection mechanisms, to strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms, to provide access to essential services, including healthcare, education, and welfare. The team asked the support of the community to improve access to education in Soldevanahalli by increasing school enrollment and attendance and to address and reduce child labor through community interventions.  This resulted in the establishment of five Community Watch Groups and three Child Protection Committees by involving active community members. The meeting saw the presence of Santosh G, President, Savitha H, Vice President and Sheela CS, PDO, Soldevanahalli Gram Panchayat. Twenty community members attended the meeting.
