BOSCO Health Care Department organized general health check ups and eye screening camps in the centres and intervention areas during April 2025. The camps were conducted by Dr. Abraham, St. Martha’s Hospital, TCM Royan Hospital and Shraddha Eye Clinic. The children’s height, weight, and blood pressure were measured. The doctor examined each child individually and recommended that they be given vegetables and iron and vitamin supplements. 

The team from TCM Royan Hospital did the general check up of the tailoring trainees and BOSCO staff and gave awareness on thyroid health as it affects many bodily functions, from metabolism and energy levels to mood and heart health. Thyroid tests help identify any thyroid dysfunction early on, allowing for proper management.  Blood samples of the trainees and the staff were collected for conducting thyroid test.

Eye screening camps were conducted in the communities. The community members were screened for cataract, and other vision related problems. Some were referred for cataract surgeries and six of them for follow up.
