Awareness for the ASHA Workers

An awareness programme was organized for the ASHA workers of Bengaluru Urban, Doddaballapur and Kolar at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, on August 12, 2025, by the outreach team working in the Gandhi Nagar area. KM Basavaraj, Coordinator, briefed the ASHA Workers about BOSCO and its activities, child rights, child-related issues like child labour, child marriage, child trafficking, child rights violations, and the child helpline number -1098. He explained the role of the stakeholders in creating a child-safe environment. He requested them to support BOSCO in rescuing and rehabilitating children at risk. Around two hundred pamphlets were distributed during the awareness programme.
