Adolescent Girls’ Meetings

The outreach team working in the Magadi Road area organized a meeting for adolescent girls at Sai Venkat Public School, Bengaluru, on August 14, 2025. Vimala Rani, the Coordinator, discussed girls’ safety, online safety, and the issues arising from social media, along with precautions to take, using simple examples. A total of thirty-seven girls attended the meeting.

BOSCO Nivas hosted additional meetings for adolescent girls at The Colonel Hill English High School and St. Rocks English High School in Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru, on August 22 and 23, 2025. These sessions focused on personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene, and the influence of peer groups. The team emphasized the importance of practising healthy eating habits, maintaining cleanliness, and staying hydrated during menstrual periods. They also provided information on making good friends and avoiding negative influences. Four hundred and sixty-two girls participated in these meetings.
