Teacher’s Day Celebrations

Children from BOSCO Sumanahalli, Rainbow Home, Nivas, Nilaya, Vikas, Mane, Vatsalya Bhavan, and Yuvakendra areas celebrated Teacher’s Day at their respective centres on September 5, 2025.  Children performed skits, dances, and songs, and did drawings and paintings. The children took the lead in celebrating this special day with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration began with vibrant decorations, where the little ones transformed the venue into a festive space filled with colours, flowers, and creativity. Children and youth spoke about the importance of Teacher’s Day and about Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Children also organized various activities and fun-filled party games for the teachers and staff of the centres.

The Directors of the centres exhorted the children to honour their teachers and follow their good example.  It provided an opportunity for the children and the youth at the centres to express gratitude and appreciation for their role in imparting knowledge, skills, discipline, and values. The celebration also helped in strengthening the bond between students and teachers, creating a positive and respectful learning environment.  Children from the centres and areas participated in the Teacher’s Day celebrations.
