Foster Care Awareness Programmes

BOSCO Foster Care organized awareness programmes for the PRI Members in Marasuru, Anganwadi Workers in Ambedkar Colony, Devanahalli, and Police Officials, Bannerghatta Police Station, Bengaluru Rural, during September 2025. Mr. Obalesh K, a Social Mobilizer, introduced the concept of foster care and adoption to the stakeholders. He briefed on the procedures and processes involved in foster care and adoption. He requested the support of the stakeholders in identifying prospective parents for fostering and children in need of a family setting. He also imparted information on Child Labour, Child Marriage, POCSO Acts and existing Government schemes.  Thirteen Police Officials, eighteen PRI Members and sixteen Anganwadi Workers attended the programmes.
