Virtual Meeting with the District Social Mobilizers

The Foster Care Virtual Meeting with the district social mobilizers via Google Duo Meet was held at BOSCO Mane on October 25, 2025.  Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, briefed about the strategies/methods used while creating awareness on Foster care for stakeholders and the general public. He explained about the purpose of the awareness programme, major components of an awareness programme, preparation for the awareness programme and methods used for foster care awareness. Shivamallu, State Coordinator, BOSCO Foster Care Programme, encouraged the social mobilizers to identify local sponsors for the programme. He asked them to update the status of the placement of children. He requested them to react to the WhatsApp messages and email. He also shared about the upcoming monitoring visits to the districts. Ms. Nandini, Assistant Coordinator, spoke about updating the documents. Social Mobilizers from twenty districts attended the meeting.
