The BOSCO Life Skill Training Centre, Sumanahalli, organised a one-day recreational and educational trip for its trainees and staff on 24 February 2026. The visit covered Gaganachukki Falls, Bharachukki Falls, and Talakadu. A total of forty trainees and staff participated in the trip. The primary objective of the excursion was to provide trainees with exposure beyond the classroom, promote relaxation, and create opportunities for experiential learning, thereby supporting their social, cultural, and personal development.

During the journey, the trainees enthusiastically engaged in singing, playing games, and interacting with one another, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere. At Gaganachukki and Bharachukki Falls, they admired the scenic beauty of the waterfalls, lush greenery, and natural surroundings. The visit also served as an opportunity to learn about the importance of protecting nature and preserving the environment. The trainees spent time playing games, enjoying snacks, dancing, and sharing moments of happiness. The calm and refreshing environment helped them relax, rejuvenate their minds, and strengthen bonds with peers and staff.

The group later visited the Talakadu temple, where the trainees offered prayers and learned about the cultural, historical, and religious significance of the place. This experience enhanced their understanding of tradition, heritage, and spirituality.
