BOSCO Bengaluru celebrated the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, at BOSCO Nivas, Sumanahalli, Nilaya, Yuvodaya, Vikas and Mane, Yuvakendra with great respect and enthusiasm. The programme included paying tribute to Dr. Ambedkar and remembering his valuable contributions to equality, justice, and education. The programme also included various meaningful activities such as a floral tribute to the portrait/statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, speeches by students and staff highlighting his contributions, and awareness talks on equality and social justice. The directors and staff highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s life journey, struggles against discrimination, and his major role in drafting the Indian Constitution.
The children proudly read the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to uphold justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in their lives. All the centre children, youths and the Study Centres’ children were part of the celebrations.
